Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with an established aerospace company in Garden Grove who is looking to hire a CNC Machine Shop Supervisor. This position is a direct hire role paying between $90,000 a year to $120,000 a year based on experience.

Candidates must have experience in:

-CNC Lathe set up and programming

-Previous Machine Shop Supervisory experience

-Previous Metals Shop Industry Experience

  • Oversee daily operations of CNC machining department to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Supervise and lead team of CNC machinists, operators, and support staff.
  • Plan and allocate resources including manpower, materials, and machine time for optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure quality standards by monitoring processes, inspecting parts, and enforcing compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machines, tooling, and programming.
  • Maintain equipment through scheduling preventive maintenance and coordinating repairs.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Train and mentor employees on CNC programming, setup, and best practices.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as productivity, scrap rates, and downtime; report to management.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize workflows and improve processes.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, tooling, and consumables.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
